Austere, with firm, chewy tannins and earthy lead pencil, dried currant, anise, floral and hints of wild berry. John and Diane Livingston, longtime and well-respected St. Helena residents, arrived in Napa Valley in 1976 with six children in tow. The winery is a family affair, with the next generation now taking the helm. This wine boasts classic “Rutherford Dust” features: beautiful dark berry fruit, a rich, silky palate and harmonious balance of acidity, tannins and toasty oak. A rare treat to experience such an aged beauty with classic bottle bouquet from such a tiny vineyard production.
