Product Description

Riesling gets a bad wrap in our experience. Often immediately disregarded for being overly sweet, we were a little apprehensive when the Nebel appeared in our weekly tasting. Boy, were we surprised! In fact, it came out on top that day and hasn’t left our memory (or our glasses) since! Forget what you know about Riesling. This Riesling from Germany is going to change your opinion. Riesling is doubtlessly Germany’s most celebrated grape variety and the Nebel 2013 comes from Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine-growing area where wines are known to be softer, lower in acidity, fragrant and medium-bodied. The 2013 is very aromatic with dominant aromas of green apple and ripe stone fruits. It stimulates the palate while retaining balance accentuated by crisp mineral accents. It is slightly offˆ-dry and flavorful with an elegant and refined finish. This wine is an amazing value and a true crowd-pleaser. We love it on it’s own when entertaining or poolside, or for pairing it with green salads, sushi or spicy Asian cuisine. Give it a try! We guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Ratings “A spray of floral perfume accents delicate notes of lemon, lime and dusty mineral on this sprightly off-dry Riesling. Citrus flavors punch through the palate, highlighted by a stream of tongue-tingling acidity. The finish is crisp and cutting.” -88 Points, Wine Enthusiast
