Red Wine by Hedges Family Estate from Yakima Valley, Washington. It displays a deep reddish purple color and a lovely nose graphite and dried herbs followed by a blast of dark cherry and blueberry cobbler. Cocoa powder and just a hint of earthy vanilla are detectable along with a splash of orange peel. The wine displays lively up front acid yet the wine is elegantly structured, with a pleasant mid-palate and long slightly spicy, blueberry finish.
